Cal Tjader

Cal Tjader was responsible for developing a Latin jazz sound out of San Francisco during the mid 1950's.Tjader signed for the Concord label in 1979, a label for which he would record six albums before his career was untimely ended by his death in 1982. His band featured some of the finest musical talents in the Bay area. This double CD presents you with a selection of the best from those six albums.
